Housed in an original tin adorned with a gentle sakura motif, the set features Seki Sakura Sewing Shears and Small Scissors that offer not only excellent cutting performance but also an elegant, refined sheen.

The cherry blossom motifs feature subtle variations in tone.

Measuring 21.5 cm in total length, it is close in size to our standard 21 cm Seki Sewing Shears with Lacquered Handles, offering easy handling and excellent maneuverability.

The blades are sharpened by adding a small edge by grinding the blade at two different angles, which ensures long-lasting sharpness and strength.

The seam ripper and awl, crafted from wild cherry wood, feature a hexagonal shape that fits comfortably in the hand and prevents rolling on the table.

The color of lacquered handles is duller and darker than it should be when the lacquer has been applied for only a short period of time. That's because the lacquer has a distinctive yellowish tone at first.

As time passes, environmental conditions such as ultraviolet rays, temperature, and humidity change the color of the lacquer to a brighter tone and becomes more colorful. 

The time it takes for the color tone become brighter depends on the environment.
