Handling Precautions

• The blade tips are sharp. Handle with care.
  
  
• Forcing the blades to cut hard or thick object will result in losing blade engagement and damage to the blades.
  
  
• Dropping the scissors or applying strong impact may cause damage.　
  
  
• Do not store scissors in direct sunlight or in high temperatures and humidity to prevent rusting of the scissors and discoloration of the lacquer.
  
  
• Lacquer coatings and gold maki-e lines are very delicate. Do not use hard cloths or abrasives for cleaning as they scratch the surface.
  
  
• After use, wipe with the cleaning cloth provided and store in the sheath.
  
  
• The sheath is made of genuine leather and therefore may stretch or shrink a little. Also wetting with water or sweat may cause color fading or stains.
  
  
• In rare cases, lacquer rash may occur depending on the user's constitution. If you experience any abnormality, discontinue use and consult a physician.
  
  
• Keep out of reach of infants and young children.
